I just remembered I had a livejournal, and after looking at my friends page for the first time in months, I can't believe you people still update these things, lol.

Holy shit.
I never imagined that I'd go THIS long without my livejournal. Honestly, I'm proud of myself for overcoming such an outdated addiction. These things used to be so popular that I laughed at the fact that I had one, and was following the trend of posting pictures and "talking" about my life on a daily basis.
Really all you need to know about my life right now is I have a job at NAMCO as a stockperson, I'm making good money for myself, I got a 3.2 GPA for 4th term (5 B's, 1 A), I'm spending a week at UMass Amherst on the 25th to meet the best the marching world has to offer, and I'm LOVING my summer vacation.
And there ya go. (:

Tal Bachman - "She's So High" |
] |
So much for documenting my life these past couple weeks. I guess I really have found better stuff to do, especially since I GOT MY LICENSE. Took me only two tries, but I FINALLY GOT IT. (April 7, 2006) I screamed my head off as soon as I got out of the car, in front of the RMV, as I told my mom over the phone. People stared. I laughed. I was excited. HELL YES! Been driving by myself since.
JUNIOR PROM WAS EXCELLENT. Even though it was like 3 weeks ago. Kind of late, I know. But yeah, it was fun, and I had the PRETTIEST date there. So yeah, my date was probably better than yours. ;) Maybe I'll make a webshots account and post pics. That's always the cool thing to do.
Band's better than ever. The whole lot of us are becoming too obsessed with it, and should be worried. But we're not. :) Friday's field trip was definitely a keeper, especially lunch at the 99 and the ride home. Lizzy served as my girlfriend for the day. :D The hall for Graduation at the DCU center isn't really ideal, because 1) the floor is all cement, 2) not the best lighting, especially with a black ceiling, and 3) the garage door behind the stage that's in plain sight is going to be an eyesore. It's going to be interesting, I'll tell you that. Pretty disappointing that parents WON'T be able to walk up and take pics of their son/daughter obtaining their diploma on stage. And rumor has it that Doyle's going to be done in time for that day too. If everyone just went to Doyle that day instead, that'll be the talk of the country.
If there was one thing I got out of that day, it was that Hudson's like my surrogate dad when I'm out of the house, and to almost everyone else in the band I think. He's not a teacher to us AT ALL, but more as a friend. Nothing beats the ties that our band has. You heard right.
I applied at 3 places today: NAMCO, Michael's and Barnes and Noble. I would REALLY love to work at B&N because I'm well suited for it, I think. The other two were alternates. I thought of AERO, but I don't wear any of their clothes. Old Navy's good, but the place is a dump, and they never called me back no matter how many times I annoyed the shit out of them over the phone. Well, fingers crossed.
"V.D."
(on the way home from Worcester) Me: So, anyone wanna explain spooning to me? (April, Wazzy, Maria, Tom, Lizzy and Hudson laugh) Hudson: Well, Viennie. Picture sitting on your side in bed, and having your partner sitting in front of you in the same position. You're both close together, and well...It's not really a sexual position. Ok, maybe it is. But I THINK YOU GET IT.
Hudson: Does anyone know what goes on in Viennie's head? I'm getting kind of worried.

So I think that having to sign a release promising that we won't drink or dance inappropriately for PROM is completely ridiculous.
I want to say bogus, but that's such a childish word.

After talking to Ms. Bilotta today, I have such high hopes for college now. I'm all up in it now; it's weird. I want to major in Pre-Med and either Journalism or TV Production. There aren't many colleges that will allow me to do both except one: New York University, which is really great. Then there's Manhattanville College, where there's a great music program and Pre-Med too. Both right in New York. Bustling environment. Busy traffic. Lots of people. God, I love it. Of course, I'm looking at all these other schools too. I know I want to look at one selective school, at least, like Brown or Columbia. Maybe.
I feel so inspired and excited for college prepping.

How is it that now I can be totally mad at someone and feel so forgiving the next day?
It's weird.
I don't mean to do it, but I don't really forgive easily, and hold grudges when necessary. Except these past couple days have been different.

AP Literature & Composition AP Calculus Anatomy and Physiology AP Psychology Journalism Band
My possible/perfect schedule for next year. The thing I love is that I got to pick my own classes. Sure, English and Science was required, but the rest I got to choose on my own. No more gym. No more History. NO MORE SPANISH. I love it. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Whittemore told me I should have taken AP Physics, but I'm having enough trouble in Honors Physics as it is. And 4 AP's...too much for a person like me.
Anyway, I just thought I'd share.

There are just some things you never know about a person, and sometimes those unknown things can actually turn out to be really funny.
You might THINK you know a person inside and out, but you probably don't.
That aside, I wanted to point out that today was the FUNNIEST DAY EVER.

Time with the loves these past couple of days was well needed.
-RISK IS BAD if you have bad luck with dice like me, rolling 1s and 3s all the time. -Deriding 70s and 80s fashion on GSN -"BANK!!!" -"57 minus 15 is...uh--f--fort---forty--FORTY-THREE!" -Playing Whoonu -Signing Hil's wall -BOWLING. "HIII---YA!" -"269 LBS!"
Brain is shot, and I don't remember anything else from today. All I do know is that friends are love, and I love to express that.
I got my car finally, and I'm going driving tomorrow with my dad so I'm really excited.
:D

haven't updated in months. oops.
Ox and Murph didn't give us a midterm, which is telling because they're my two hardest classes, and I was expecting one. But NOPE. :)
Went out to lunch at Chopsticks before play practice today with some of the loves. One piece of advice. Never drench sushi in wasabi and soy sauce. NEVER. It's ok to occasionally dip, but drench? No. Why? IT KILLS YOUR FUCKING NOSE. I have a picture that I'll get off my phone later. HILARIOUS. With time to kill, we took a trip to the mall. I bought one shirt at AE. "WILL DO ANYTHING TWICE." I'm beginning to think I could take that the wrong way a lot.
that's good enough. peace.

Unbelievable. People can be so ignorant.
p.s. The Marching Blue Devils will no longer be playing at any of the Girls' Varsity Basketball games from this point on due to spectator complaint. Thank you and have a nice day.
EDIT: [PRESS RELEASE] On the game of January 17, 2006, the Marching Blue Devils performed in the stands for the first time for the Girls' Basketball team. Coach Young stated that before our arrival, most of the games appeared to be typically quiet, but with the band present, it brought a better presence.
Surprisingly, a game would not be a game without conflict; however, in this case, the conflict occurred outside of the court. More than halfway through the game, a female spectator approached band director Mr. Barry Hudson, and lodged a complaint about the band, and described the music as a "distraction." From that point, we were forced to stop playing entirely following the complaint. As a result, the band as a whole voluntarily exited the game, and primarily chose not to play at any future games.
We thank Coach Young for his heartfelt apology and his gracious invitation to come back. Now, as of January 18, 2006, the Marching Blue Devils will continue to play at the Girls' Varsity Basketball games, providing exciting and uplifting entertainment as a pep band.

"Maybe the truth is there's a little bit of loser in all of us you know, being happy isn't having everything in your life being perfect. Maybe it's about stringing together all the little things like wearing these pants, or getting to a new level of Dragon Slayer. Making those count more than the bad stuff. Maybe we just get through it. And that's all we can ask for."
A little bit of loser in all of us. I loved the way she said that.
We're all losers, although not everyone wants to say it. Perhaps I'm being cliche, but I could care less now.
Hell, I'll just say it. I'M SUCHA LOSER. GOD. hahah

| DOWN WITH THE HART |
[11.17.2005 //// 11:51PM] |
I had a very informative visit with my stylist as I went to get my haircut today. Long story short. She's an education major, and observed at LHS several times along with some of her other colleagues. They all talked to Dr. Hart, and found out he was planning on Small Schools when he first arrived. oh yeah.
And she noticed how he likes to avoid answering questions and how he likes to ramble about nonsensical shit. She also told me that if Small Schools failed this year, then he would resign and leave for another school, destroying yet another with Small Schools.
That poor, poor man. If only he felt our anger.
